Guide to Attractions in Britain
To find out information about a specific Town, look it up in our Search Box above.
If you know that you are going to go to an Attraction on a specific date, it is often much cheaper to purchase your ticket online in advance. This way, not only can you save up to 50% of the price, you will also be able to avoid the ticket purchase queue when you arrive and join the (usually shorter) prepaid ticket queue.
Click on the links on the right for Ticket Agents, or the 'booking' link on the specific venue page. 365 tickets for example has a wide range of tickets for different venues. Lastminute.com also has some great deals on Theme Park entrance tickets. It is worth checking them all before booking as they may well have different packages. In some cases, the Agent's Ticket price is cheaper than the official website!
The normal process is to pay online and then print out a ticket at home which will have a barcode.
Before you book, however, check the dates. Some venues allow booking within 24 hours of the trip. Others may require longer.
A recent innovation is the Merlin Annual Pass. This allows 12 months unlimited entry to the UK's top attractions: LEGOLAND® Windsor, Chessington World of Adventures and Zoo, THORPE PARK, Alton Towers Resort, London Aquarium, Madame Tussauds London, London Eye, The Dungeons, SEA LIFE centres, Warwick Castle and SEA LIFE Sanctuaries.
In addition, the Merlin Annual Pass has negotiated exclusive deals with many of the attractions listed above as well as a host of third party exlusive offers - e.g. 20% off at Early Learning Centres, 30% of RAC Rescue membership, FREE eye exams at Vision Express and more. Click here for a full up to date list of all the offers. Far too many to list here!
