Museums
Museums in the UK come in all shapes, forms and themes from the British Museum, the Natural History and Science Museums in London to the Beatles Story in Liverpool and the Wimbledon Museum.
Most charge an entrance fee and even the publicly funded ones that are free on entry will still have a donations tin somewhere, so if you enjoyed your visit, why not drop some change in to help keep it going?
Some museums such as the British Museum will allow you to book tickets in advance online, meaning you won't stand the risk of queueing behind someone who is buying tickets for a coachload of visitors. You can also buy your souveniers online after the visit - saves you carrying it home!
