i have seen the silver jubilee celebrations.the golden jubilee celebrations,so it would be an honour to see the diamond jubilee celebrations aswell.i hope the queen keeps her health to enjoy the big day.what a milestone to acheive.

I pray that Her Majesty will be in good health to enjoy her diamond jubilee, she, as her mother was, is an inspiration to people to stick by their principles. Have I ever met Her Majesty? Unfortunately no,but it would be my greatest honour and priviledge to meet her and bow my head.Long live the Queen.

We closed the street, laid tables out and the kids had a party.

Well, there will be national celebrations! So, the nation will be celebrating. Our street has already planned the street party and in 2011, we will start to decorate everything with Union Jack and the Queen's pictures!
In 2002, miilions of people gathered in London and celebrated the Queen's golden jubilee and I think I will be the same in 2012!

Did you know that a Diamond Jubilee can be 75 or 50 years? According to Wikipedia, "A Diamond Jubilee is a celebration held to mark a 60th anniversary in the case of a person (e.g. wedding anniversary, length of time a monarch has reigned as King or Queen, etc.) or a 75th anniversary in the case of an event (e.g. the founding of a university), such as in the case of the University of Nottingham's Jubilee Campus." So now you know!
